Tips for Thick Thighs - Women
What Kind Of Pants Should You Wear If You Have Thick Thighs
The Right StYLE For Thick Thighs
So through my research and experience, the first and most important thing to look for is the right style of jeans. Jeans can be a sensitive area for most girls too, it can take forever to find the right pair and the process of trying on less fitting pairs is never a self esteem boost. I have good news though, there is a right pair of pants for you and here are some ways to help you find it.
1. Every thick thigh girl out there should own HIGH WAIST, SKINNY or SLIM JEANS. Trust me when I say this is a must and is something you should try if haven't already. High waist jeans have a lot of coverage at the top because they are meant to reach your belly button. So it covers the front AND the back because no one wants bum cleavage and most of all, it creates a beautiful hour glass figure that holds your thighs in a very compact and complimenting way.
THE RIGHT BRANDS FOR THICK THIGHS
So here are some great brands that I've had experience with and have done research on. Not every suggestion may be a good fit for you, but as long as you know the first rule of picking the right style you should be good.
BRAND 1 - zARA
BRAND 2 - ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH (HIGH WAISTED)
BRAND 3 - H&M Jeans
Brand 4 - RAG & BONE (HIGH WAISTED)
BRAND 5 - CITIZENS OF HUMANITY (High wAISTED)
THE RIGHT TYPES OF BOTTOMS FOR THICK THIGHS
Now lets not forget that the world does not revolve around jeans. In fact my closet only has 4 pairs of jeans in it and the rest are different types of bottoms. I'm talking joggers, leggings, skirts, shorts and more. The more options you have the better you feel, not everyone can find that perfect pair of jeans and you really shouldn't have to. I know people that don't even wear jeans, it's not their thing and they haven't found a brand or style that works with their body. Each body is so different that it would be impossible for one style of pants to work for everyone.
So what are these other types of bottoms?
1. Joggers/Dress pants
Preferably high waisted, They're roomy, shapely and in style right now. low waist can work as well as long as the fit is right.
2. Leggings
My current favourite leather pants are from Aritzia, you can read more about this outfit here!
3. SKIRTS
Choose an line or pencil skirt. Skirts like these flatter your shape by highlighting your waist (the smallest part of your body) and flaring at the bottom, taking attention away from your thighs.
4. SHORTS
Go for flared or a line shorts as well, similar to the skirt effect.
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
Don't feel boxed into only wearing jeans, try something new from these suggestions or your own inspiration. Either way you know who to call if you need a hand.
