Body Questions 101

Hello hello, welcome to a new thing I've been trying OUT .... I call it "Body questions 101"

It all started with a couple shopping trips I did with two clients

My first client, a tall slender and gorgeous woman, told me she often had problems with pants and jumpsuit dresses because of her long torso. She would run into a camel toe situation, not my favourite word but it explains it the most. My other client was a tall and well built gentleman who could have played soccer, football and basketball and all sports back in University. His struggle was interesting because I thought only girls struggle with this; having thicker thighs but a small waist. So his jeans are either too tight on his thighs if its the appropriate size OR, too loose around his weight if its a size bigger to accommodate for his thighs. By the way, here are some tips for the men who struggle with thigh space. Anyone else struggle with this? I sure do.

Finding the right fit for your body

The best solution to finding the right fit is tailoring all your clothes, I'm talking jeans, sweaters, tops, everything. Actually fun fact, Nordstrom tailors any item you buy from them. When I worked there, I was surprised how some customer tailored their purchases and the complete difference taking off an inch can make!

TIPS for long torso and long legs

After posting a question about what to wear if you have a long torso and long or short legs, more questions flowed into my social media. Everything from "what about if I'm short and have short legs" or my personal favourite "I hate bras but I've got boobs for 5 girls" - here here!

So I decided to create body questions 101 as a constant way to help others find the right fit! Here are some tips for my long torso women who may also have long legs!

my picks are not your style?

You don't have to pick these exact outfits, but use the tips to guide you when buying clothes. Ask yourself "is there a balance between my top and bottom half, are my curves highlighted, do I feel confident and or sexy? ". For more body advice click here and as always you know who to call if you need a hand.
